Drug Direct was formed in 2018 for patients seeking lower costs for their prescription drugs.

Peter Bigley, President of drugdirect.com , was able to bring together all of his relationships formed as the owner of Pharma Exports, LLC, a pharmaceutical wholesale operation established in 2000 and located in Pittsburgh, PA. Working directly with U.S. pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors he has brought together a network that can offer drugdirect.com patients competitive pricing for their prescription drugs.

The site received Legitscript certification in 2019. This certification approves drugdirect.com as an on line pharmacy.

In 2022 our pharmacy operation, Perfection RX, LLC, received a Special P&E license allowing us access to certain specialty products. These drugs are controlled through limited distribution channels in the US. All prescriptions are filled at Perfection RX, LLC which is located at 3248 Lantana Road, Lake Worth, FL 33462.
